Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize IT systems, including servers, networks, databases, and applications.
  • Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Leadership: Guide other IT staff, lead small-scale projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and recommend solutions that enhance system performance, improve security, and elevate user experience.
Leadership-Focused Duties
  • Mentor and support less experienced IT team members.
  • Oversee IT initiatives, such as system upgrades, rollouts, or migrations.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for advanced technical challenges.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and external service providers.
Potential Specializations
  • Network IT Specialist: Manage and maintain network infrastructure; lead network-focused initiatives.
  • Cybersecurity IT Specialist: Secure systems and data; lead security audits and incident response efforts.
  • Cloud IT Specialist: Administer and optimize cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure); manage migrations and integrations.
  • Systems IT Specialist: Oversee enterprise systems; support configuration, maintenance, and integrations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–10 years in IT roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a      related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications (preferred):
    • CompTIA Network+, Security+
    • Cisco CCNA
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
    • CISSP or other relevant cybersecurity certifications
